MIY MakerSpace, together with Badog CNC, is now open at Bd Pérolles 13a. Last October 8 and 9, MIY MakerSpace fablab opens its doors to public. The fablab feels so good to see a lot of guests came to join the celebration.
Located at 13a, the office is filled with CNC milling machines, 3d printers, welding equipment, and so on. Guests witness the activities the fablab created and so the products on display. The Badog CNC machines are for sale, and can also be rented if you registered as an Elite Member. You can also use the other equipment if you are a member for 5CHF per hour. The visitors together with our previous clients witness how the machine works, and the projects made using the machines MIY MakerSpace has.
Aside from woodworking and other stuff activities, all of the people at the office enjoy the apéro offered by the fablab itself.
Young ones up to adult ones enjoy the tour, and some did sign up for elite membership, and even some purchased items. There are people who asked for what MIY MakerSpace has in store. The fablab also offer courses for learning. If you are unsure about making something, the staff would love to help you.

What’s good about the fablab?
Many people are creating tables, doorknobs, dollhouses, small racing cars, etc. using our Badog CNC machines. Some of the clients were saying they are not that knowledgeable about woodworking. The good thing is they found answers from the expert staff.
For newbies, MIY MakerSpace is actually offering 1-on-1 courses and group lessons. If happened you want to get a group of people wanting to learn how to use CNC, or create some projects, you can always group them to join the learning in the fablab.
Many schools had make their way for learning by visiting the fablab. Students were brought for them to experience how those machines work.
Another thing you can enjoy with MIY MakerSpace is they have a vinyl cutter. This is used to make t-shirt prints. This is available in their shop and able to utilize by elite members.
